You've just received your Just for Redheads real hair piece, took it out of the bag and wonder what to do next.
Truth be told, your Just for Redheads real hair piece had a cramped ride from our warehouse to your home. It spent at least a couple of days carefully packed but, lo and behold, does not seem to look or feel its best after you removed the packaging. And you want to wear it tonight!
No need to fret as JFR has all of the advice and supplies you need to turn your hairpiece that looks like a wet rat into the gorgeous locks that all will admire.
First up, supplies. Hopefully you ordered the JFR Remy Real Hairpiece starter kit containing a detangler comb and Argan oil. If not, I'll bet you have regular hair conditioner and a detangler comb somewhere in your house. You will also need a hair iron or a dryer. Bonus to you if you have a foam head to keep your hairpiece while not in use.
Second, setup. Gather all the supplies and set your hair iron or dryer to the lowest heat setting. Our hair iron at JFR is set to 225F (about 110C). Grab a spray bottle of water or a small cup to dip the detangler comb into.
Third, straighten and style:
- Slightly moisten the hair with a wet comb or spray bottle. Use a little water as possible so you don't spend the entire afternoon drying your new hair.
- Carefully comb your piece to remove any knots or fuzz. Do not pull as pulling will damage the hairpiece.
- Using the detangler comb and hair iron, straighten the "packaging curls" into straight or a wave that you want. Continue until the hair is mostly dry.
- Place 2-3 drops Argan oil into your palm and work into the hair. Use a little more oil for larger hairpieces as needed. You can also use a few sprays of leave-in conditioner. Style with detangler comb to complete.
- Your JFR Remy hair piece is real hair. It can be styled just as you like.
Congratulations! You have completed the unboxing. Wear you new hair with pride and, when done, leave it on a foam head or hang up to keep it beautiful.
